Altamura Destilleries x PARADISO
This project was developed as a circular design exercise exploring how hospitality waste can be transformed into collectible and functional objects through material innovation and product design.

Created together with Paradiso, the project expanded on the research developed through ZEWA, focused on transforming Horeca waste into new materials and applications. Using discarded bottles from Altamura Vodka, we reinterpreted glass waste into two new tableware pieces that gave a second life to the original material while preserving its identity and story.

The project also included the design and production of a bespoke packaging system, created with CNC laser-cutting techniques to house the final objects. Conceived as an extension of the experience, the box combined precision, craftsmanship, and sustainability into a collectible presentation piece.

Designed as an exclusive gift for Frank Grillo, co-founder of Altamura, the project highlights how circular design can generate new forms of value, transforming waste into meaningful and refined objects.
